Who We Are

As NHS Scotland's unique provider of a national tele-health and tele-care service, we are responsible for the delivery of health advice and information by telephone and online services to the population of Scotland 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. NHS 24 is a patient-focused service providing the people of Scotland with triage, advice, guidance, referral and information on health and healthcare services

Where We Are

Our Regional Centres are located at Hillington, Cardonald, Clydebank, South Queensferry, Dundee and Aberdeen. This post will be based one of our West of Scotland centres, NHS 24 also supports Hybrid Working.

The Role

NHS 24 are recruiting for a Team Leader to lead the Recruitment team.

The successful applicant will support the Recruitment Manager as subject matter expert in end-to-end recruitment and the management of the e-recruitment system.

You be responsible for organising the work of the team, allocating resources ensuring the delivery of a first-class candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate goals for the team and prioritise workload to ensure the delivery and management of effective recruitment campaigns
  • Support the team to deliver against SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Support internal stakeholders with their recruitment needs
  • Manage and support the team to conduct telephone interviews to assess suitability
  • Delivering activities that support and build the employer brand
  • Supporting candidates through their application process
  • Working towards continuous improvement across the wider team
  • Quality assurance activities ensuring compliance standards are met
  • Provide recruitment advice, guidance and support to the team and all candidates
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the team

Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge and experience of end-to-end operational recruitment management
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Experience of managing a team and allocation of workload
  • Performance management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft 365 packages and associated applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Diversity and Inclusion champion
