This is a fixed term part time position for 9 months covering maternity leave.

A vacancy has arisen in the Neonatal Unit Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy for a Band 4 Nursery Nurse

We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit, consisting of 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency and 11 Special Care cots.

At present we have 4 qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in post & two currently in training.

We are a forward thinking unit looking for a Nursery Nurse to join our team

You must possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work within the team as well as on your own initiative.

You will be expected to deliver a high standard of care and use a holistic approach to family centred care.

An up to date knowledge of evidence based practise and a commitment to the delivery of clinically effective care within neonates is essential.

You will have a recognised qualification.
