An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Orkney Health and Social Care Partnership for a committed, forward thinking, experienced Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner to join Team Orkney. There are unique challenges in delivering both acute and long-term condition support to people in remote and rural communities. This role will critically examine a suitable and sustainable model of care for the communities of Orkney Islands. As the Advanced Practitioner, you will have a dual role with responsibility for the organisation and clinical leadership of the highly specialist physiotherapy interventions to patients with complex respiratory care needs and to propose and evaluate a model of care that are clinically sustainable and ensures best value.

Across Orkney, the Physiotherapy Service strives to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred sustainable care. The successful postholder will also take a lead role in reviewing physiotherapy respiratory on-call arrangements and leading education and training as required. This role requires a highly experienced clinician who can also demonstrate sound project management skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in service evaluation and patient experience.

If you are a dedicated professional, highly motivated, organised, can be flexible and embrace change, has a passion for leading and developing others and who has a proven track record of high clinical standards then we want to hear from you.
