What you will do:
You will join a small professional team managing property transactions, estate asset management and estate asset strategy within NHS Ayrshire & Arran. We are looking for a property services asset manager with experience of working as an architectural technician or working with building condition surveys and databases. Using your technical skills both from education and post-graduate experience, you will be responsible for maintaining a database of drawings, meeting with colleagues in Estates and Capital Planning to identify the backlog maintenance liability based on the 6 Facet surveys and update and manage this information in the Strategic Asset Management System (SAMS). You will also support the Head of Service in using the Capital Planning System (CPS) to assess lifecycle costs for the estate going forward and using this to support a cohesive and integrated property asset management strategy, supporting the clinical needs of the Caring for Ayrshire programme. This will involve service redesign and reshaping the estate to support this. You will provide drawing and property condition advice to colleagues, clients and other key stakeholders, supporting the prioritisation of estates maintenance and capital projects delivering the Caring for Ayrshire programme.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Qualified to Degree level or with equivalent demonstrable knowledge and/or significant practical experience, you will have experience of working as an architectural technician or working with building condition surveys and databases. Ideally you will be a practically minded individual with experience of working in Health Care or managing property condition databases.
