Consultant in Addiction Psychiatry
Full Time Available, Part Time / Job Share Applications Also Welcome
£96,963 - £128,841 p.a. for basic 10 PA appointment with APAs available subject to mutual agreement.

The Role
A Consultant post in Addiction Psychiatry is available within the Borders Addiction Service in the Scottish Borders. The successful applicant will lead the addiction service across the Scottish Borders, delivering care and promoting a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency approach. The successful applicant would be encouraged to take on the role of Clinical Lead for the service and to participate in local leadership structures, such as representing the service on the local Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (ADP) board as well as in Scottish national structures.
Candidates must hold MRC Psych or equivalent higher qualification and must also be fully registered and licensed to practice on the Specialist Register (for General Psychiatry) with the General Council or within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview. Candidates should also be an Approved Medical Practitioner or willing to gain approval once in post.
