This is a very exciting opportunity to step into a new role joining the existing 16WTE staff in the Department of Clinical and Counselling Psychologist as a fulltime Advanced Psychologist Therapist.

We are looking for warm, reflective, innovative individuals who want to make a difference to join us working with adults with moderate–severe mental health problems. We are seeking individuals who share our values – being respectful, kind, curious, collaborative, forward thinking and trauma informed.

Key aspects of this role are to:

  • Provide a high-quality therapy service for complex mental health presentations
  • Deliver groupwork in conjunction with the Psychology teams (Adult Mental Health, Primary Care and In Patient) for patients presenting with conditions such as EUPD and trauma

You will be qualified in a relevant evidence based therapeutic modality to PG Diploma level. You will receive clinical supervision, both individual and peer group. Training in groupwork protocols such as STEPPS and Survive and Thrive will be provided.

Grampian, located in the North East of Scotland, has a population of over half a million. The scenery across the North East is enchanting and inspiring, from beautiful coastlines to the Cairngorm Mountain range. The area offers both rural and urban based leisure, cultural and sporting activities to suit a range of interests. There is easy access to airports in both Aberdeen and Inverness.  Grampian is a major centre of Education with two Universities, Aberdeen and Robert Gordons

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
