We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy Distribution Team. You will need to be flexible, organised, work well within a team and have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.  You will be used to working in a busy challenging environment, be adaptable and willing to learn new skills.

The role will include receiving medicine deliveries from wholesalers, issuing inpatient medicines to wards, carrying out ward top-ups and ward-based screening of medicine orders, providing a porter service to deliver medicines throughout the hospital and providing a driver service to the outlying facilities. 

You will have excellent communication skills and hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ2 qualification in pharmacy services. The post holder(s) will be required to participate in weekend and public holiday rotas. 

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

We are a friendly, forward thinking team and would love to have you on board – and we have cake club on a Friday!

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
