Senior treasury Assistant

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Treasury Team based at Waverley Gate in the centre of Edinburgh.  The team manage the cash resources of NHS Lothian to ensure they are accounted for timeously and accurately, and that sufficient cash is available at all times to meet the liabilities of NHS Lothian as they fall due.

You will support the operational process of the Treasury section in providing a service to patients, visitors and staff in respect of their cash requirements and provide cash management services to the organisation in a timely and accurate manner, whilst ensuring all Treasury transactions are processed in accordance with departmental and organisational policies and procedures.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be able to work to demanding timescales.  Have an AAT Intermediate qualification or similar or with experience of working in an administrative role within a finance department.  Are competent in the various Microsoft modules and demonstrate excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.  Experienced in a similar working environment would be an advantage.  Applicants should be enthusiastic and strongly motivated team player, with a desire to provide an excellent and accurate service.
