The Intensive Care Unit, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary ICU Follow Up, Research and Audit team currently have a full time vacancy or 2 x part time candidates will be considered.

The general ICU has 30 beds and admits from NHS Grampian, NHS Shetland/Orkney as well as accepting patients from NHS Highland & Tayside if/when the need arises. Patients admitted require either level 2 or 3 care for a broad spectrum of critical illnesses. The Follow Up service is an integral part in these patients recovery and hospital stay.  Clinical Research is a vital part of the development and progression of treatments within Critical Care.  Audit work is an essential component in every Critical Care unit in Scotland.

The successful candidate will be a registered general nurse educated to degree level or equivalent with at least 3 years experience working as a Critical Care Nurse.   Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are essential along with good IT Skills.
