Specialty Doctor in Sexual Health
Applications are invited from enthusiastic doctors to join our integrated Sexual Health team in Lanarkshire as a Specialty Doctor. This is a permanent post for 8 programmed activities per week and may involve evening working. You will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience as a Specialty Doctor in Sexual Health and to support our vision of sexual health for all. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing care and improving the sexual health outcomes of our local population. The post would suit individuals contemplating a career in Sexual Health including doctors undertaking CESR training in Sexual and Reproductive Health or Genito-Urinary medicine.
You must be fully registered and have a level of skills and competencies usually associated with at least four years’ full-time post–registration experience, including at least 2-year experience in contraception and sexual health. The successful candidate must hold the DFSRH (Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health). In addition, the successful candidate should hold the Letters of Competence in Intrauterine Techniques (LoC IUT) and Subdermal Implants (LoC SDI) or be committed to undertaking these qualifications on being appointed.
