GP with a Special Interest in Acute Medicine
3 Posts – Permanent – 9 hours per week.
Opportunity to join a diverse team of GPs with a Special Interest working in the Ambulatory Assessment Area (Same Day Emergency Care), of one of Scotland’s major teaching hospitals.
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our Acute Medicine Team in Tayside as a GP with a Special Interest in Acute Medicine.
Clinical Duties
Duties will cover the full range of Acute Medicine at Ninewells Hospital. This is likely to be 2 or more sessions per week with previous candidates having shown a preference for fixed working days to fit around their other interests as a portfolio GP.
Contractual Commitment
The appointee will have continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their care and for the proper functioning of the service. They will also undertake administrative duties associated with the care of patients. After taking up post the successful candidate will agree a job plan, and PDP with the Clinical Lead in Acute Medicine. Secretarial support will be available in addition to access to a computer.
