WDHSCP  Facilities  Support  Officer 

We have a 25 hour (12 month fixed term) post available for a dynamic and forward thinking individual, you will be based in Clydebank Health & Care Centre, but may be required to work across West Dunbartonshire HSCP.   Interviews for this post will be held on Wednesday 6th December, 2023.

You will provide effective Facilities Support to the Community Admin Team providing opening/lock up service to our buildings, comprehensive caretaking and security to facilitate the smooth running of our health centres.    The post holder will work to a rota covering a combination of Early, Day and Back shifts (detailed below); as our priority is the opening and closing of our buildings, when one of the team is on leave, the Day Shift person will be required to cover the early or back shift.  

The Facilities Support role is a varied post which involves stock ordering, receiving and distributing stores, mail and samples collection/distribution, litter picking, gritting/snow clearing in winter months, greet and direct patients to practices/clinics, you will work within clearly defined protocols and procedures, adhering to policies, data protection and confidentiality.

After initial induction and on the job training, the post holder will work with minimum supervision (at times lone working) although guidance and assistance is available from line manager(s).
