OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SUPPORT WORKER BAND 3 
 21 HOURS PER WEEK OVER 3 – 5 days


A position has arisen in the Occupational Therapy team at Peterhead Community Hospital providing an occupational therapy service to the ward and to the community in the Peterhead area. We are seeking a well motivated, reliable Band 3 support worker with an interest in rehabilitation. You would be required to work with patients along with a therapist, independently in the hospital and patients homes.

We are looking for a support worker with excellent communication skills, effective organisational and time management skills and good I.T. skills.  A full driving licence and access to a car is required for work. There will be an expectation to provide services over 7 days, including weekends/public holidays and extended hours, where required, to meet the need of service. Regular supervision and support will be provided with training on the job and via the local Occupational Therapy support worker training programme.  


Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous, and potential candidates are encouraged to visit the department to learn more about the role.
