This is a fulltime post of 37.5 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 0800-1600 plus occasional weekends and public holidays.
A degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and HPC registration are essential for the post.
We are looking for someone to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Service within Greater Glasgow and Clyde at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital.
You will work as an autonomous practitioner providing a high standard of patient care to patients on a one to one basis and in group settings. The role will involve working to support the senior staff and Service Lead Physiotherapist and including assisting with the development of students.
As a member of the physiotherapy team you will work within all areas of the Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy specialty.
Obstetric inpatient and outpatients – both antenatal and postnatal
Gynaecology inpatients
Antenatal Education Programmes and Postnatal Rehab programmes
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy service.
Relevant rotational experience within a range of specialties is essential for the post.
Previous experience within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty is desirable but not essential. You will be required to participate in the antenatal education programme and you will participate in the weekend Obstetric service provision to postnatal inpatients.
