This is a diverse role which involves the day to day delivery of healthcare support to a population who have a comprehensive range of physical, psychological, substance misuse and social problems. The Therapy Assistant Practitioner will support the work of professional teams to promote and enable individuals to achieve their optimal level of independence.

The postholder will manage an agreed caseload and own schedule to ensure that time is spent in the most efficient and effective way. 

Communicate patient care needs to third party personal carers contracted by Scottish Prison Service.

Excellent communication skills are required.

Base will be HMP & YOI Stirling however postholder will be required to attend all 3 NHSFV prisons as required.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
