The NHS Fife Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate provides an integrated service to a population of approximately 380,000 people, with a team of around 300 Pharmacy staff, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, Nurses, and Administrators. The Pharmacy team work across Acute and Community hospital sites, General Practices, Mental Health services, and a range of specialist teams. Partnership working is at the core of our values, and we work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including our Community Pharmacy colleagues, to deliver the highest quality care for everyone in Fife.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with excellent secretarial and administrative skills to join the team. Working closely with the Head of Pharmacy – Population Health & Wellbeing, colleagues across the Directorate and being part of the Business Team, you will develop and maintain the high standard of support necessary to run a successful service. 

This post would suit someone with significant office and administrative experience and skills, with an ability to work closely with a range of staff groups. You should be educated to HNC / HND or have equivalent experience and possess an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Excellent communication and team working skills will be essential in this role as well as the ability to be flexible to the demands of modern healthcare.

Applicants should have the ability to travel to different locations across Fife.
