HOSPITAL CLEANERS REQUIRED
Domestic Support Worker (Ref: 170560)
Substantive
Part-time 12 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 2.5 hours and Friday 2 hours
Band 2 - Salary Range £23,362 to £25,368 pro-rata per annum
Plus Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 pro-rata per annum

We’re looking for people who share our team-working ethos. Applicants should have a good level of basic education, good communication skills and a full UK driving licence would be desirable. You will need to be able to follow instructions so you can take part in the initial training and induction, which takes place when you start. From there, your manager and colleagues will give you the support you need while you complete your on the job training. The work you do in the Domestic team will be essential to the safe running of the Health Service in Shetland; you will be a valued member of the team and may have the opportunity to develop skills in other areas of the facilities team if you wish, such as laundry or catering.
