NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The shift pattern is Mixture of Mon-Sun 11.55 dayshift/nightshift. Mon-Fri 9-5pm or 0745-1545, 1400-2200, 2145-0800.
This is a rotational post which will involve working throughout all departments within the Royal Alexandra Maternity Hospital including community midwifery unit, day care, early pregnancy assessment, labour ward, maternity theatre, ante natal and postnatal wards and will involve working days/ nights and 7.5hr and 11.55 hr shift patterns. The postholder will support the senior charge midwife and nurses and midwives within the departments in the delivery of safe and effective standards of care. The postholders main duties will include maintaining HEI infection control standards in accordance with Policy through cleaning and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
