NHS Highland eHealth Department has a vacancy for a Systems Specialist for Order Communications.  Order Comms is a key component of delivering a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) within NHS Highland.  Working as a member of a larger project team, you will be responsible for the continued rollout of the Order Comms solution in Primary Care, as well as working towards providing the Order Comms solution for Secondary Care colleagues.  The job requires the individual to work closely with a larger project team within the eHealth Department as well as colleagues in specialist services within Laboratories and Radiology to deliver an Order Comms solution which is fit for purpose and enables clinicians to make quicker and better-informed decisions.

The successful candidate should ideally have knowledge of NHS clinical systems and how these interface with each other.  The ability to work through complex tasks on your own, as well as with a larger group to deliver on key milestones is also important.
