Ruthven Ward is a 24 bedded mixed sex ward providing assessment and care for people with dementia and associated symptoms of stress and distress.
The successful candidate will be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment. This position would suit a conscientious, kind, enthusiastic and motivated individual.
Previous experience in a care setting is desirable as this is a busy and physically demanding post. We require someone who is able to cope with these demands, who can work well within a team and has a calm and friendly nature.

With experience and further training, you may be eligible to apply to the Future Nurse Programme that will allow you to ‘earn as you learn’ to become a future registered nurse.
