This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join the well-established pharmacy team delivering service in the Dermatology outpatient setting. As a member of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and associated hospitals department of Pharmacy you will be based at Lauriston Building, an enviable city centre location.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Dermatology multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of clinical pharmacy service to Dermatology patients. Training and support will be provided to take on a prescribing role within existing pharmacist-led Dermatology clinics for psoriasis, eczema, urticaria and acne patient and therefore an Independent Prescriber qualification is desirable to the role. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the delivery of dispensing and homecare service. Participation in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh weekend and public holiday rota is also expected. There is no on-call commitment.

Excellent inter-personal skills are essential with the ability to work with an extensive multidisciplinary team, building professional relationships and acting as a role model for the pharmacy profession. Contribution to service development will be expected and the applicants must be flexible and forward thinking as we deliver Dermatology service in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Candidates must have a Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent, must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and should have completed or have equivalent competence as mapped to the Post Registration Foundation Pharmacist Framework available at:
