An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dietitian to join the Acute Dietetic Team based at the Western General Hospital. This is a temporary post to cover a secondment and provides a great opportunity to experience providing a dedicated dietetic service to the Regional Infectious Diseases Unit.

The post holder will be responsible for covering a busy inpatient caseload providing a specialised dietetic service to Infectious Diseases patients, and an outpatient service to patients living with HIV.

You would be expected to supervise and support other members of staff, participate in student training (B and C placements), and provide clinical support to colleagues at the Western General Hospital as part of the NHS Lothian Acute Dietetic Service. 

We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop your specialist clinical skills. 

Please note: This vacancy is Fixed-term for 12 months
