DIABETIC EYE SCREENING RECEPTIONIST
BAND 2
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Diabetic Eye Screening team based in the David Anderson Building, Foresterhill Site, Aberdeen.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic receptionist to provide efficient, effective and patient-centered administrative support for our service.
The successful candidate should:
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to work on their own or as part of a team
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people
• Be able to manage and prioritise their own workload
• Be able to work under pressure
Duties include:
• Dealing with telephone enquiries
• Dealing with face to face enquiries from patients/staff/relatives
• Managing patient appointments
• Maintaining and updating patient information/records
• Printing patient letters for posting
Experience working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential. The post includes the use of specialist IT packages for which training would be given.
This is a 22.5 hour per week post (Fridays are mandatory).
