An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and positive individual to join the Medical and Safety Directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland working within the Scottish Patient Safety Programme.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate and support project activity, ensuring the successful completion of agreed outcomes within parameters such as timescales, cost and quality. Key project activities will include organising events and meetings (including virtual/hybrid meetings), webinar planning and delivery, evaluation and report writing along with the development of a range of resources. Exceptional interpersonal and planning skills will be fundamental to success in this role along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities across multiple programmes and projects.
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience), have an understanding of project management and experience of project work. They should also be able to work on their own initiative, be proactive, manage and prioritise a busy work schedule and demonstrate attention to detail.
