Job Advert

Are you looking for something different, are you keen to work in a collaborative way to deliver care differently to the frail older population? If so, we need you!!

Rosewell House is a 60 bedded Integrated Intermediate care facility. This is a relatively new and exciting service which operates step up, step down and rehabilitation beds for elderly patients. Rosewell House is Multi-Disciplinary Team led and works collaboratively with Secondary, Primary and community care. Our Multi-Disciplinary teams work alongside our Bon Accord Care colleagues and our wider Frailty Pathway colleagues to deliver enablement care in a more homely setting.

This is something that has never been done within Grampian before. We require a second Senior Charge Nurse to work alongside our current Senior Charge Nurse and Senior Staff Nurse team. We are looking for an individual who is innovative, enthusiastic, adaptable to change and keen to support care delivery in a different way to the traditional nursing model. We are looking for a Senior Charge Nurse to be in this pivotal role who is ready for an exciting challenge and to pave the way in creating a new blended model of care for our frail older adults.

You will have ideally worked in a SCN position or held a Senior Staff Nurse post and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the SCN role from a leadership and managerial perspective.  As a role model, you will be able to demonstrate high quality leadership and change management skills in relation to team motivation, delivering on service provision, redesign and quality improvement and be able to provide expert professional clinical advice.

If this is you and are keen to find out more information, please contact Laura Davidson, Frailty Nurse Manager laura.davidson5@nhs.scot  01224 556202 or Fiona Forbes Nurse Manager fiona.forbes5@nhs.scot 01224 556616

Please note, an attractive relocation allowance of up to £8000 may be available to successful candidate
