What you will do:
Ayrshire and Arran are currently seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking RGN with a special interest and relevant experience in Respiratory nursing to join the Respiratory Nurse Specialist team.
You will provide person centred care integrating your specialist services to aid in admission avoidance and early discharge, home oxygen assessment service, initiation of non-invasive ventilation service within hospital and community setting with ongoing review of these patients, nurse led clinics and home visits to provide expert specialists care to patients with a wide range of respiratory illness including COPD, Asthma patients who may require biologic therapy, Interstitial lung disease, MND, bronchiectasis and TB tracing being amongst these.
Providing education and support for patients and aid the patient in the development of long term care plans, you will also provide support and education to ward based teams for education and competencies.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
As a registered nurse with current NMC registration, you will be educated to degree level/ masters level with relevant post registration qualification in asthma/copd and relevant post registration experience.

Hours:
37.5 hours – Monday to Friday
Job Share would be considered.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Car licence is essential to this role.
