There are 2 positions in this job, 1 based at Royal Alexandra Hospital and 1 based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, to join our Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Team currently based at Royal Alexandra Hospital with a remit also for Inverclyde Royal Hospital and Vale of Leven Hospital but will be required to work with other IPC Teams within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde .
The post holder will work closely with the Senior Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to assist with the delivery of the sector IPC service on all matters relating to the prevention and control of infection by providing strategic direction and advice across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde .
We are seeking to appoint someone who will bring to the role excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team in fast paced and challenging healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence relevant training, education and experience. They will be educated to and/or operate at Degree Level and willing to undertake a Post Graduate qualification in Infection Prevention & Control.
The IPCT are currently looking at trialing a condensed working week therefore this is something that may be considered. The shift pattern for this post is 5 days 8.30am – 4.30pm .
