NHS Borders Psychology Service is delighted to be inviting applicants for an experienced psychologist to lead our older adult’s psychology service. You will lead and oversee our older adults’ psychology service, as well as become part of our Psychological Services senior leadership team.

NHS Borders Psychology Service is a dynamic and supportive service that aims to offer delivery, training and supervision in psychological therapies to the NHS Borders, a rural population of 115,000 people. We are in easy reach of Edinburgh and Newcastle. The Tweedbank rail service from Edinburgh has made travel to Tweedbank (45 minutes from Edinburgh and a 20 minute walk to the Borders General Hospital) an attractive commute.

The Scottish Borders is a lovely area to live in, with excellent schools, abundant local amenities and easy access to Edinburgh and transport links.  Superb leisure facilities including many golf courses, mountain bike trails, walking and other rural pursuits. There is good quality affordable housing in the region which provides ideal opportunities for a high quality of life in this scenic part of the country.
