Band 5 Gastroenterology Day Unit GRI / Medical Day Unit Stobhill

This is an exciting opportunity for a band 5 registered nurse to join our enthusiastic medical nursing team within Glasgow Royal Infirmary/Stobhill ACH Hospital.
The Gastroenterology Day Unit Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Medical Day Unit Stobhill specialises in looking after patients with Gastroenterology illness and disease, IBD patients, Liver Disease, Haematology patients and Rheumatology patients. We deliver a wide range of therapies including biologic therapies, blood transfusions and iron infusions. We also provide nurse led clinics for haemochromatosis patients and mineral metabolism patients.
You will have a chance to work with the above patient groups and the opportunity to work alongside, and be supported by, experienced nurses, clinical nurse specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team provide essential evidence based nursing care.
The working and learning environment is one where you can feel proud to provide a high standard of care to patients and this role is perfect for a motivated nurse with an interest gastroenterology and medical nursing.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload efficiently, the skill to deliver a high standard of quality care and the supervision of others.
The shift pattern is Mon-Fri. Hours 8am-4pm or 8am-6.30pm depending on service needs. Rotational position covering Gastroenterology Day Unit Glasgow Royal Infirmary/Medical Day Unit Stobhill.
