Thank you for your interest in our Buyer role within the procurement team of our Finance Directorate.  This is a key role within the operational procurement team to provide essential support to NHS Fife Departments and Services, through utilisation of the procurement journey and other procurement tools, to ensure control of spend and delivery of best value. This role will require knowledge and understanding of the organisations Standing Financial Instructions, and implementation of sustainability and value through Local, Regional and National Contracts as well as implementation and effective use of e-Procurement systems. 

You will have experience working in a customer focused or user focused organisation. Will hold a HNC or equivalent relevant experience. Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to manage priorities and workload to deliver effective services and successful performance across NHS Fife.

We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern arrangement from home and in the office.  Our office working is based in Hayfield House, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Fife.
