Job Advert
An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our current OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy) Team. We are seeking to employ a number of Band 6 OPAT Specialist Nurses to join our team as we enter our next stage of development for our service, for a fixed term or secondment, until the end of March, with the potential to extend.
Working in partnership with the wider multidisciplinary team and fellow specialist nurses, candidates must be able to demonstrate high quality communication and interpersonal skills alongside a genuine desire to ensure exemplary person centred care. Candidates will be able to demonstrate evidence of continued professional development.
You will have ideally worked with patients requiring intravenous antibiotic treatments, have extensive experience in acute nursing and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the OPAT specialist nurse role and demonstrate transferrable skills.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate high quality leadership and management skills to enable change, as we continue to develop our service into a nurse led pathway.
Interested candidates are encouraged to get in touch with the below contacts, to get a true understanding of the specialist nurse role and ongoing development of the OPAT Service.
