Interested in working in a dynamic and progressive service then come and join our amazing team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Forensic Service. So what is it we do? We provide care and treatment to a vulnerable and heavily stigmatised patient group in the least restrictive way possible. We do this in a non-judgemental way that is patient focused, inspirational and compassionate. If you are up for a challenge and are keen to hone your skills in either Mental Health or Learning Disability nursing in a unique environment then come along and join us and be part of our patient’s ongoing journey of recovery.

We have two sites in Glasgow, Scotland’s biggest and friendliness city. Our medium secure service is based at Rowanbank Clinic and is located in the north of the city sitting just behind the Stobhill Hospital site. Our low secure service is located in the South part of the city and is situated on the grounds of Leverndale Hospital.

Rowanbank Clinic has seventy-four beds across eight wards providing assessment, care and treatment to adults with a mental health or learning disability diagnosis in a medium secure setting. Our eight wards cover; male admissions, the National Learning Disability Service for male and female patients, male rehabilitation, and female assessment and treatment.
