Sutherland is an extraordinarily beautiful place to live and work. Migdale Hospital is situated in the heart of Sutherland, only 40 minutes from the Highland capital.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Migdale Hospital as an Administrator. You will be expected to provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient, and high quality secretarial service. Promote the smooth day to day running of the Hospital and provide support to the Senior Charge Nurse and Teams.
You will be required to undertake a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties. Previous administrative experience and knowledge of confidentiality and safe handling of information/ GDPR is required. You should have the ability to work as a member of a team and on your own initiative with minimal supervision and good time management skills.
Applicants should preferably have experience of working within the NHS or similar setting in an administrative capacity. An in-depth working knowledge of secretarial and administrative duties including minute taking, good keyboard skills, knowledge of NHS computer systems and processes and collation and distribution of meeting papers is required. The successful applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to deal with the public and be willing to undertake further training.
This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday in accordance with service requirements and in agreement with line management. Job-share candidates will also be considered.
