Vacancy Details: | This vacancy is for a committed, innovative, motivated and flexible Speech and Language Therapist to cover a maternity leave within an established multi-disciplinary team in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences in Lothian You will work as part of a small SLT team, providing in-patient and out-patient SLT service for a wide range of neurological conditions 0.3 WTE Band 6 position, temporary to cover maternity leave. Duties & responsibilities: | To provide a comprehensive speech and language therapy service to patients / carers Staff responsibility – Supervise clinical workload of support workers, assistant practitioners and SLT students | |
Key requirements: | A qualified SLT with relevant clinical experience in Adult Acquired Neurology A SLT degree qualification or equivalent and HCPC registration is essential for this post Evidence of significant post registration professional practice experience to undertake and fulfil the key areas for this post | |
