An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Evidence and Evaluation for Improvement Team (EEvIT) within Healthcare Improvement Scotland. Successful candidates will work within the Primary Care Improvement Portfolio to support the evaluation of the Primary Care Phased Investment Programme and support the programme of work of EEvIT.
The Primary Care Phased Investment Programme aims to:
- improve implementation of the General Medical Services (GMS) contract with a focus on pharmacotherapy and community treatment and care (CTAC) services
- develop a culture of continuous improvement across primary care settings, and
- build evidence to understand the national context for implementation.
We are looking for people with a broad range of research skills, in particular with experience in qualitative and social research. The post holder should have experience in gathering views from a range of stakeholders using a range of techniques (e.g. focus groups) and synthesising qualitative data. The ability to search and consider different types of evidence is important. They should be strong communicators with good organisational skills and have a proactive and collaborative approach to work. The post holder will be expected to have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject and/or have health services research experience.
