Working as part of a team and based at Ninewells Dundee, you will assist in the production and service of meals at Ninewells Main Kitchen and Diet Kitchen in Dundee, to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Previous, relevant cooking experience is essential, as is a good knowledge of work procedures, practices & equipment through experience and professional qualifications to SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. The post includes shifts between 06:00 and 18:00 including weekend working which is paid at an enhanced rate.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are:  37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday, working alternate weekends. Enhancements are paid for weekend working
