What you will do:

Supervise/Monitor the provision of efficient and comprehensive cleaning, housekeeping and linen services throughout all Wards, Clinical and non-Clinical Areas and all other Departments of the sites within the General Hospitals Division in accordance with Statutory Cleaning Standards to fulfil the objectives of the organisation and NHS Scotland QIS (Quality Improvement ) Standards.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will be required to be proficient in, have knowledge of, or undertake training in the following:-

  • NEBSM/ILM certificate in First Line Management
  • Food Hygiene certificate
  • First Aid certificate
  • Cleaning Champions certificate
  • Domestic Supervisors Development Programme certificate
  • SVQ Level 1 Assessor
  • Healthcare Support Worker Assessor
  • Health Facilities Domestic Assistants/Housekeepers Workbook Assessor
  • IT skills
  • HAI Audit standards and procedures
  • COSHH Regulations
  • Interviewing skills – recruitment & selection

Hours:

Post 1:

1pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday (20 Hours per Week)


Post 2:

2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday (15 Hours per Week)
