An exciting Senior Clinical Nurse (Night Services) opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse.

Night Managers are based in Lochhead within Royal Cornhill Hospital. Post holder will have clinical responsibility and will operate within the context of the current Mental Health and Learning Disabilities services delivery model.

The successful applicant will have professional and Operational responsibility to assist the wards when necessary, offer advice and support nursing staff, attend clinical and nursing emergencies, deploy relief pool nurse if available, complete and send out Situation Report in the morning. Discuss within the multidisciplinary team the effectiveness of ongoing clinical interventions as appropriate. Evidence the ability to address issues arising in a professional and discrete manner, whilst acknowledging own and service limitations. This will include providing strong clinical leadership whilst ensuring a high standard of person centred care is delivered to patients and their families. 

We are looking for an individual with who will enjoy the challenge that role offers while demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes, staff wellbeing and building a culture of nursing excellence.
Applicants must be educated to degree level, a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse and have a genuine interest in working on night shifts.

The role is for a permanent Band 7, Full Time post, 37.5 hours per week.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
