CORPORATE PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT NURSE (PDN)


Within this exciting time of the Nursing and Midwifery Strategy launch, this post is essential to the delivery of strategic priorities within Excellence in Care and Care Assurance.

The post-holder will work with key stakeholders in relation to Quality Improvement projects, guideline and policy development, delivery of education programmes and teaching to deliver of safe, effective person centred care. The post holder will have a key leadership role to make substantial contribution to ensuring clinical care and services are high quality, safe, effective and person centred.

The PDN will provide professional leadership and exemplify positive behaviours and attitudes for nursing services/staff within NHSGGC, supporting the aim that clinical staff possesses the right values, knowledge and skills required for effective service development.

The post holder will take a lead role in supporting innovation, leadership and the strategic direction of care assurance and the function of the corporate practice development team, provide professional advice on care assurance across NHSGGC board and be an autonomous practitioner who will support the care assurance and implement strategic initiatives where appropriate.
