HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT VACANCY

Selkirk Medical Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team.

Our team currently consists of 5 GP Partners, GP registrar, ANPs, Practice Nurses and an Administrative Team.

We are a forward-thinking and innovative practice committed to improving patient-centred care for our c7400 patients. We value the wellbeing of all our staff; encouraging a healthy work/life balance as well as creating an ethos of values-based team working is integral to how we work.

Your role will be to assist with routine procedures, including taking of blood samples, ECG examinations, blood pressure checks.

You will be competent, reliable and must have the ability to work confidently in a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate must be an experienced HCA or Auxiliary Nurse who has completed the Health Care Support Workers competency course or similar.

This is a part time position offered on a fixed term basis for 6 months initially

Hours of work: 14 hours per week (over 3 or 4 days with flexibility)

Salary £22,816 - £24,336 pro rata per annum (depending on experience)
