PRACTICE NURSE VACANCY

Selkirk Medical Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our supportive and friendly team.

Our team currently consists of 5 GP Partners, GP registrar, ANPs, Practice Nurses and Administrative staff.

We are well supported by a range of Health Board multidisciplinary professionals including Health Visitors, District and Treatment Room Nurses, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Well-being Nurses.

We are a forward-thinking and innovative practice committed to improving patient-centred care for our c7400 patients. We value the wellbeing of all our staff; encouraging a healthy work/life balance as well as creating an ethos of values-based team working is integral to how we work.

Your role, as well as nursing care and health screening, will be to support our patients living with chronic diseases. The successful candidate will also have the ability to perform cervical screening within a GP practice setting and cover contraception reviews.

You will have the full support of the Partners and wider Practice team.

This is a permanent position on a part time basis – 16 hours per week (over 3 days)

Salary £39,600 pro rata per annum.
