An exciting career development opportunity has arisen for a Senior Staff Nurse within the challenging environment of NHS prison health care within HMP & YOI Grampian.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and motivated individual to join our nursing team with a passion for nursing patients within a custodial setting.

The successful candidate should be able to evidence management skills, clinical competencies and ongoing professional development and must have worked within an acute health setting.

You will be expected to undertake a clinical caseload, working in a proactive and professional manner at all times
You will work within a large multi-disciplinary team in a Community Facing Prison, offering health care services and opportunities to patients in a custodial setting that are available to the general public.

Successful candidates will be motivated individuals with excellent communication and team working skills, ready to provide a high standard of health care.

The working hours are three days between Monday – Friday 0900-1545hrs with a 30min lunch

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
