Spotlight on the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion (PAEP)

Exciting opportunities are available to join the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion in Edinburgh city centre.

Ophthalmology is a vast and varied speciality with many different exiting opportunities and experiences.  You will have the opportunity to work within all departments pick up different knowledge and skills, which can be used to provide excellent patient centred care.  We have a friendly welcoming team and staff are always encouraged to develop in a supportive environment. 

We have a wide variety of opportunities available within the Eye Pavilion as follows:

  • Acute Referral Clinic (ARC)
  • Eye Outpatient's (EOPD)
  • Ward E2 - Inpatient and day case unit open 24/7
  • Ward E3 - Macular service
  • Ward E4 - Pre-operative assessment ward
