The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm.

An opportunity has arisen to recruit an Administration Support/Audio Typist to the Respiratory Service within Glasgow Royal Infirmary.  The post holder will be required to plan, organise, prioritise and maintain the day to day administrative tasks associated with the functionality of the Sleep Service.

This post is pivotal in supporting the Respiratory Consultants and Physiology Specialists to run an effective patient centered service.

Responsibilities include typing of clinical correspondence, dealing with patient enquiries, distributing and filing documents and arranging appointments as and when required to support patient care. Applicants should demonstrate a professional manner and have excellent communication skills.

Previous NHS experience and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages is advantageous.
