We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

We require a Housekeeper to work within two General Medicine Wards in Gartnavel General Hospital. These wards care for adults who require rehabilitation, discharge planning and rheumatology input. The successful applicant will provide a high quality and efficient service within the Wards. This will include: domestic cleaning duties, housekeeping and stock management – incorporating catering, laundry, waste and financial management. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable. You will be a self-motivated, organised, conscientious person and must be flexible – having the ability to work with minimum supervision. The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a standard Police Act/Disclosure Scotland check. Operational hours: 37.5hrs, Mon-Fri 0800-1600hrs (times vary within the Ward/subject to local agreement) and you may be required to work out-with these hours.
