DEPARTMENT CLINICAL PHYSICS & BIO ENGINEERING

NUCLEAR MEDICINE - NORTH EAST SECTOR GLASGOW

STOBHILL HOSPITAL

BAND 3 (30hrs)

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Imaging Assistant to assist within the Nuclear Medicine departments of the NE Sector, based at Stobhill Hospital.

Candidates will carry out direct patient care of patients attending for nuclear medicine investigations. You will have a caring disposition preferably with experience working in a caring environment.    Excellent communication skills and the ability to carry out assignments as directed and on own initiative.  Training to SVQ 3 in Acute Care and outpatient experience or equivalent are required.

Competence and experience in venepuncture and cannulation are also required. Previous experience of working with unsealed radioactive substances would be an advantage.
