What you will do:
Provide a comprehensive system help and support service for appropriate Digital Systems across Primary and Community Care services, Health and Social Care and the Ayrshire Data Partnership.
Use the management functions of the systems to control access, monitor the quality of data and to update and maintain the configuration of system components.
Provide specialist training in the use of Digital systems and provide comprehensive advice, assistance and guidance, in respect of such systems to ensure maximum benefit from investment is obtained.
Assist with the implementation of system upgrades, through testing, drawing up and producing documentation, and completing change requests.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Qualifications and Training
- Educated to HNC/HND level in a related subject or experience in a related field
- Driving Licence
Experience
- Experience of working in the field of information systems, preferably within a health or social care environment.
- Experience of providing formal and informal training in Digital systems.
- Experience of working with confidential information.
Competencies & Personal Skills
- High level of knowledge in the use of Microsoft 365
- Data analysis skills and excellent numeracy and statistical proficiency
- Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health or social care information systems
- A sound understanding of the key components of data protection and information sharing legislation
- Record of working successfully across professional boundaries.
- Good team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Well-organised and able to work under pressure delivering high quality in constrained timescales
- Record of continuing professional development
- Enjoys new challenges
- Writing documentation or reports
- Ability to work with staff at all levels, including Heads of Departments

Hours:
37.5 hours per week over 5 days.
Fixed Term/Secondment:
Please note this job is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 12 months.
