The NHS Tayside Diagnostic Laboratories Department is looking to recruit a Systems Support Technician for their IT support team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small IT team directly supporting staff within the Diagnostic Laboratories Department.
Duties will consist of day-to-day BAU work, including handling 2nd line support calls and involvement in the varying essential project/service improvement work as and when required.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate should have experience supporting technical requests and notable endpoint hardware and software experience.
The post requires education to a minimum of diploma level, preferably in the IT field or an equivalent level of knowledge and should include the following:
- Experience working within a team.
- Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Focus on Customer Service.
- Experience in autonomous decision-making and liaising with internal/national support teams to provide solutions to problems or issues.
- Liaising with 3rd party contractors and vendors.
- Experience working within a medical laboratory department would be beneficial.
This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.
