Applicants must be educated to degree level and be a first level registered nurse or midwife with an active post registration qualification in health visiting (as entered on Part 3 of the NMC register). Successful candidates will possess relevant post registration experience and evidence of ongoing professional development.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Health Visitors both full and part time, to join our Health Visiting team in Inverclyde. We are looking for Health Visitors who will provide safe, effective, client-centred care, who have an excellent knowledge of child protection systems and current developments within health visiting. As the Health Visitor you will promote the well-being of Children and their families in accordance with the Universal Health Visiting pathway utilising the GIRFEC principles and approach to underpin assessment and planning for children and their families.  You will provide an accessible, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective health visiting service to the children and families of Inverclyde. Good IT, communication and organisational skills coupled with the ability to work within a team setting as well as independently, will be an essential requirement of these posts.  In return, the post offers excellent learning and development opportunities and is a stimulating environment to work in. The successful candidates will be offered clinical supervision, line management and child protection supervision with various opportunities for development available within the organisation.
