This brand new service offers an exciting opportunity for staff to come and work in a new multi-disciplinary team, working with older adults and their carers to deliver person centred holistic specialist care.  The new multi-disciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, activity support workers, psychiatry consultants, junior doctors will work together as integral members working alongside social care colleagues, striving to maintain high standards and ultimately benefitting the person at the heart of their care.    

When you join us in Nairn ward, you will also become part of the wider NHSGGC Mental Health Services and join a large caring, compassionate, professional team.  We work collegiately focusing on supporting staff development as well as caring for health and wellbeing culture to ensure all people in our services flourish.   When you join Nairn Ward you will be supported through a bespoke induction, ongoing competency based training as well as continuous professional development (CPD) available as part of the wider Mental Health Services network.   Nairn ward, once established will welcome and proactively support healthcare students as a quality practice learning environment.  . 

Highly Skilled, Motivated, Caring Staff  Required

In order to join our team you need to have a demonstrable interest in care of older adults living with dementia.  Knowledge, skills and experience of holistic care specifically mental health and physical health care delivery.  Experience of specialist dementia care is desirable, although full training will be provided.  This is a new specialist service so we are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, caring staff dedicated to seize this new opportunity of working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team to establish a new quality service. Our main goal is to provide excellence in care for older adults in our care, if you want to be part of our team then don’t miss this exciting new opportunity!   Don’t Delay & Apply Today

Nairn ward is a fully refurbished ward located in the modern mental health section of the Stobhill campus.  There are easy links to the M8 and public transport.
